you dont need to be dissfelowshiped to be shunned ( why & how ).

what caused you to be shunned from within your congregation,even though you were not disfellowshipped ,.

where in the scriptures does it mention this particular type of remedy,does the creator sanction this type of treatment,were you suicidal when this happened ,did you receive support from anyone ,how did you handle it.. can you offer advice to people going through this at the moment.. agarpe love

i could spend many of your minutes describing how helpful this forum has been for me, suffice it to say that it's the way things should be...offer an idea and everybody else have opportunity to put it on the table too, pro or con.

my opinion is that jw's haven't realized (or have been denied) the benefits of such an appropriate arrangement that also provides the best method for discovery and growth.. my offering today is prompted by what i've found to be a recurring theme here...one that never fails to bother me.

as many witnesses "get out", too often (for me) they along with now rejecting the wts, reject many of the good things the wts tried, however horribly, to represent.

No witness I know was taught Christian behavior unless Christian behavior is to stand in judgment over everyone and every act, to withhold love on command, to rat and spy on each other and to take joy in the DFing of people you don't like. Religion as a whole we are taught is form Satan. God, the destroyer, him I could have done without, I do however like the Christian God, I have been learning about and thought I know all these years.

i do agree with you, It's not the Bible that sucks, it's the people who use it to run there scams.

What to do with those who abuse kids??

i'm sitting here in the serverroom freezing my buns off and the issue of the child abuser and what to do with him or her was being kicked around.

we got the standard shot the bastards in the head etc,.

should they get any treatment at all or should they just be shot?.

I would like to offer a solution to any abusers lurking out there in cyberspace.

If you find that you can't resist the compulsion to offend.
If you just know it's only a matter of time before you do it again.
If you find your self moving towered a child, giving in to the evil.

Stop, think about what you are doing.
Go someplace and kill your self.
You have the power to make it end.
There is no way to make up for what you are doing, but there is a way to make it end.

they have been preparing everyone by way on tv and radio on the sexual abuse in the jw religion.

they had a small piece on the 6 o'clock news with a small interview with bill bowen.

GB disassociates itself!!

dear brothers:

as you have admitted, the watch tower bible & tract society did join the united nations as a non government organization in 1992 ending in 2001, and according to the following watch tower this means that by their own actions they disassociated them selves from jehovahs organization which means that we must treat them like disfellowshiped ones.

in other words they are no longer jehovahs witnesses or have any right to that name.

It would seem, the governing body is clamming to have had no knowledge of the UN involvement. Without proof to the contrary how can they be held accountable for there underlings obvious abuse of there policy?

Suicide ends pain for many

doctors have began prescribing suicide as a way out of pain saying that this medical avenue should have been recommended many more times in the past.

i know your not talking about killing yourself because, I've read about it too.

seems like a logical progression from abortion to euthanasia, to the Doctors and Why not killing has became a viable option to life's problems after all.
